Project Overview – WAL-MART (US)

• In the WAL-MART project, I worked as a Build and Release Engineer within a 22-member team at Wankys Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd., supporting large-scale enterprise application development and deployment. I was responsible for establishing and managing version control strategies, automating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring smooth, consistent builds across multiple environments.

• My role involved creating and managing Git branches, resolving merge conflicts, and implementing an effective branching strategy to support parallel development. I integrated GitHub with Jenkins to automate code checkout, build execution, and artifact deployment. I also worked extensively on Docker, creating containerized environments, building Docker images, and pushing/pulling images from Docker Hub.

• I configured and maintained Jenkins jobs, managed plugins, set up Master/Slave nodes, and wrote scripted pipelines to support distributed builds and continuous delivery. I worked closely with the DevOps Manager to align release workflows with client requirements. Additionally, I built Java applications using Maven on scheduled Jenkins servers and performed administration tasks across tools like Jira, Tomcat, Apache, and Linux servers.
