I contributed to the EY Offline Mobility – Wabtec project by implementing DevOps practices using GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, Polaris, Black Duck, and Docker. I supported infrastructure migration, built CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, performed DB migrations, created Docker clusters, and collaborated with a 16-member team to deliver high-quality solutions.

In the EY Offline Mobility – Wabtec project, I worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Quest Global Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd., contributing as part of a 19-member team. The project involves enhancing the existing Express Yard application—used for managing car repair and service workflows—by adding robust offline capability to support operations in low-connectivity environments.
Our team’s role focuses on the DevOps modernization initiative, where we are implementing a complete DevOps toolchain using GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, Polaris, Black Duck, Docker, and automated quality/security scanning. I actively collaborated in understanding the client’s current processes, evaluating their infrastructure, and defining the migration approach to the new toolset. I also participated in demos presented to the client showcasing how legacy practices are being transformed into a modern DevOps workflow.
My responsibilities included building and deploying CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, integrating SonarQube, Polaris, and Black Duck for static code analysis through Docker-based automation. As part of deployment validation, I ensured system/user accounts, required packages, configurations, and application services were correctly set up and running on target servers.
I contributed significantly to team collaboration by helping new members understand the existing ecosystem, supporting them in creating GitLab pipelines, and guiding them in building deployment workflows. I also worked extensively on GitLab, troubleshooting pipeline issues, and optimizing build stages.
Additionally, I developed shell scripts for database migration from PostgreSQL to Couchbase and created Docker Compose configurations to cluster the EY application components, including backend services and databases.
Through active engagement with both the customer and internal teams, adherence to defined processes, and consistent focus on improving delivery efficiency, I played a key role in driving DevOps excellence and enhancing the reliability of the EY Offline Mobility application.
